The ComponentWorks team has worked hard to add new features to the User
Interface, DataSocket, Instrumentation, and DAQ controls. We are now
seeking beta testers to review these new features and provide
feedback.
Preview of New Features
Direct connectivity to OPC and live Internet data sources. User
interface objects can be connected in read or write mode to an item on
the DataSocket Server or an OPC Server through the property pages. In
read mode, user interface controls are automatically updated when new
data is available on the server. In write mode, changing a connected
property on the control will send the new data to the server
automatically.
Expanded graphical browsing capabilities for DSTP and OPC Servers
IviScope and IviDmm controls simplify control of instruments with IVI
class-compliant instrument drivers. The IVI controls have built in
instrument-like user interfaces and support instrument configuration
through interactive property pages.
Support for DAQ devices with the NI-TIO counter/timer chip. You can
perform position(encoder) and two-edge separation measurements, and use
new properties to configure filters and prescaling.
The beta will be available for download in mid October. If you want to
