The conversion between temperature and voltage requires knowledge of the target or source of the voltage values, so I'm sorry I can't give a very thorough answer to your question right now.
If, for instance, you are reading values from a thermocouple using the Measurement Studio CWDAQ ActiveX control, you can read values that have already been scaled to the correct temperature by setting the channel up in Measurement & Automation Explorer as a thermocouple channel. You can also set it up as a voltage channel to read the voltages directly from a thermocouple.
If you are concerned with traceability, you can read the raw data from a thermocouple channel (the "binaryCodes" parameter to the Read functions). This provides you with the raw ADC readings on the channe
l before any scaling or conversions to voltages or temperatures took place.
If you are trying to output voltages that correspond to temperatures, you need to consult the manufacturer of your controller or heater for the appropriate conversion.
If you can provide some more information about your application (hardware setup, what you are trying to read or control, etc), I might be able to provide some more specific assistance.
I hope that helps.
