Has anyone tried Janus softwares Phoenix (VB like) with NI-GPIB

I would like to know if anyone has ever tried the National instruments GPIB Linux drivers using Janus Phoenix software - a visual basic lookalike for Linux systems? Were you successful in talking to Gpib instrumentaion.

I haven't heard about anybody trying this. Looking at the Janus Software website, I noticed in their language reference that they do support the VB Declare statement. The documentation only talks about calling functions in .dll's, but if the Linux version of Phoenix supported calling shared libraries, then I think you would have a good chance at getting it to work. Have you tried Declare statements with Phoenix on Linux?
