The ComponentWorks Plus Pack is a free update for licensed copies of
ComponentWorks 2.0 or 2.0.1. The Plus Pack does not include any updates to the
ComponentWorks DAQ controls, only updates to the DataSocket control and a new
3DGraph control. NI-DAQ version 5.0 will mostly work with ComponentWorks 2.0.x.
If you are using NI-DAQ 6.1 or higher, you must use ComponentWorks 2.0.x to
correctly access the digital ports. In general, it is recommended that you use
the latest version of the driver software that supports your hardware. I am not
aware of any incompatibilities between NI-DAQ 6.1.1 and CW 2.0.

Subject: Componentworks v2 and AT-MIO-16X

I am somewhat confused about whether my system will work if/when I
upgrade to componentworks v2. I have a legacy AT-MIO-16X ISA card that
is only supported up to NI-DAQ v6.1.1. I read a document at National
Instruments (ftp://ftp.natinst.com/support/compworks/cwe201.txt) which
says you only need v5 of NI-DAQ or later to work with componentworks v2.
I also read a Componentworks v2
document(ftp://ftp.natinst.com/support/compworks/CWPlusPackREADME.txt)
that say you need v6.5 of NI-DAQ to work with componentworks. Which one
is correct? I sure hope it is the one that says v5 of NI-DAQ.
Can anyone please clarify for me. I've asked a National Instruments
sales rep but they are not the fastest to reply.
Greatly Appreciated.
