What is nistcu.dll installed by/used for?

I have a user that has reported problems with our software looking for nistcu.dll yet when I check for this dll on my PC (on which the software was developed) I do not have it.

We are using NI-DAQ 6.7.0 with a PCI-6602 card in a VB6SP5/W98SE development environment.

Does anyone know what nistcu.dll is installed by and what it is required for?

I suspect that this is really a NI-DAQ question but there's no category for that. Second best would be Measurement Studio, but that doesn't accept postings (so why is it in the list?) So I guess it'll just have to go here!

What kind of problems were you having with the dll? Does it return some sort of error message?
Have you tried updating the driver to 6.9.2?
