frequency measurement of square wave on the bnc-2110

Hi,
I would like to measure the frequency of a square wave using the BNC-2110 board. Input of 0-24Vpp, at 400Hz, and using LabVIEW 8.0

With "Analogue In", I use the DAQmx Create Channel.vi, then DAQmx Timing (finite samples, 10000Hz), DAQmx Read (single channel, multiple samples, 1D DBL), feeding this result to Power Spectrum.vi and then Pwer & Freq. Estimate.vi

When I don't give the Estimated Peak frequency, it returns an answer of 0 Hz! Argh!

Is there another alternative? How does the counter-input work?

Regards,
Karlismoose.

I've worked it out - Use the DAQ assistant to create a Counter-In, Pulse input, and then just feet the input voltage to the User BNC port, and with a wire join the PFI4 digital port to the corresponding User digital port.

Buggermedays!
