how to run a labview program(*.vi) in VB6?

Hi:

I use measurement studio 6 and VB6.I want to run a labview program(*.vi) which is no parameters to input to judge whether spectrum ananlyzer is in ready state.How can I run the program? Can the judgement be implemented through measurement studio 6?

I am considering purchasing a VI that is a camera interface. I develop my imaging apps using IMAQ and VB6. I am not planning any modifications to the VI.

What software or drivers do I need on my development computer to do as is described in this thread? Do I need LabView, or is there a run-time engine? Right now, I do not see LabView as an available reference.

What do I need on the computer that will actually run the application I develop?
