monark Bike

I am writing a small vb 6 application to measure the RPM coming from a Monark Bike , i am using a serial cable to communicate with the Bike .

is there any one who did a similar thing before ? is there any command i can use ? i dont have the guide and i connot find any thing online.....

i can communicate with the hardware but i connot get any data 😞

any help will be appreciated!!

P.S : it is working fine on windows 2000 but not Xp i dunno why 😞

Hi Kmous,

What driver are you using to communicate with the Bike? If it is working on one computer but not another, the reason is likely that the proper serial communication drivers are not installed on the XP machine.

it is a Com port , windows drivers are enough , i dont think it is a driver problem , it is something else , i am sure.
