Attempting to load Measurement Studio. Error: Setup not successful. Have downloaded MS SP5. Executed setupsp5.exe per MS download instructions, but error: Setup was not sucessful.

Throw in a little more info. Was it SP5 that had the error or did that work fine? What part of setup dumps you? Right at the beginning? What OS?

What version of Measurement Studio are you trying to install? If 1.0, this is a known issue with the installer. For more information, see the Knowledge Base article Why Does Measurement Studio for Visual C++ Not Install with Visual Studio Service Pack 4 or Above?.
