CWDIO documentation

I'm trying to find the reference documentation for the CWDIO ActiveX control that comes with the version of ComponentWorks included with NIDAQ 6.9.3. (Measurement Studio version 6.0, according to cwdaq.ocx.)

I've tried 'National Instruments|Measurement Studio|Online Help|Visual Basic Reference', but this help file doesn't even contain an index item for CWDIO. I've tried looking at the help for CWDI and CWDO, which indeed gives a help page. This help page is little more than an overview of what is supposedly contained within a PDF document the help page links to. Clicking this link, just like clicking any other link to a PDF document in the help file, just gives an error message saying "Unable to locate install location of PDF documents."

There i
s no option in the installation that says anything about PDF documents. There are no PDF documents on the 6.9.3 CD related to Measurement Studio that I can find. I tried searching for documentation for "Measurement Studio", "ComponentWorks" and "CWDIO" about three hours without receiving a single useful hit, or even a hit indicating that there is such a thing as a reference manual for ComponentWorks (other than said help file, which doesn't contain any reference documentation anyway.)

Could someone please put an end to my misery and either confirm that these PDF files the "ComponentWorks Reference" links to do not exist, or tell me how I can find them?

Henrilk,

Probably the best place to go for CWDIO documentation is the Measurement Studio help file that should have been installed with your copy of Measurement Studio. You should find a link to it in Progrm Files>>National Instruments>>Measurement Studio>>Help>>Measurement Studio Reference. If you don't have that link you can probably find the file in
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MeasurementStudio\Help\msref.chm
If you don't have this files then you may need to reinstall MStudio.

I hope this info helps,

Regards,
