CWKnob transparency problems

I've been trying to attach a transparent background to a CWKnob control, using 'http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/a2455574c4ed944186256b22005c5580' as a reference, but I'm running into some problems.

First, the transparent background wmf image does not appear inside a website - see the attached screen shot. I've set the background image of the control to the BD18218_.WMF image downloaded from the above link, but it disappears when I bring it up in the Microsoft Explorer.

Second, transparency only seems to work against the background color, not a background image - and you can forget about a background animation.

Aaron,

Have you tried this same process in a VB6 project, or is the bahavior of the background disappearing only when you embed the control into .html. I've replicated (in VB6) that the transperency does work for a simple background color, but not a background picture. I'm going to have to look more into this to see if this is a result of the .wmf file that we are using or of the control itself. I'll post back here with my findings. Thanks and have a good one.
