I am trying to support a change to an older application that used ComponentWorks and ComponentWorks++ 1.0.1.
I have a licensed version of Measurement Studio 1.0, but not 1.0.1.
Is there any way to get the 1.0.1 version of MS? Since it's a minor revision, I would guess that at one time it was a "free" upgrade to the licensed 1.0 product - is there any way for me to reconstruct the past and get the MS 1.0 -> MS 1.0.1 upgrade?
Thanks

I'm also curious as to just how you can go about figuring out what version of COmponentWorks / ComponentWorks++ may be installed.
M&AE doesn't "see" either ComponentWorks or ComponentWorks++, and the "add / remove programs" function of the control panel shows the SW but doesn't report version or size info.
If I knew which files were involved, I could try looking for version info in the file metadata. But, I don't know what stuff makes up these two packages.
I guess there's some possibility that I have MS 1.0.1 now, though the CD is labeled 1.0.
Thanks for any insight on this odd issue.

I don't have versions that old installed, but if MAX and Add or Remove Programs doesn't show the software version, then I would check to see if Visual Studio would display that information. For instance, in Visual Studio 2008, there is a Measurement Studio menu at the top of the toolbar and from there you can select About... and see the version of Measurement Studio installed. I would expect something similiar for the older versions where Visual Studio can show the versions of the add-ons installed.
As far as getting the software, I recommend calling NI. We keep older versions of software around that we could probably get to you.
