I have recently upgraded from labview 6 to 7. One of the new features that liked is the “Highlighting Execution” function. This is available with new labviews I make up but the function is missing for labviews created in six and converted to seven as well as the single step run features. Are the available but just not on the tool bar or are they not available because the program was converted from seven.
Try going to File>>VI Properties and then selecting Execution from the pull-down menu. Make sure that 'Allow debugging' is selected and see if this makes a difference.
