Runtime Error! Cannot open Measurement Studio in Visual C++

Hi all,

I have just installed Measurement Studio to use with Visual C++6 (ServicePack6)

However, I cannot create a new project with NI Measurement Studio AppWizard. There are MessageBoxes as follows:
" Runtime Error!
 ...
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an usual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information"

and then :"The instruction at "0x73dd11c7" referenced memory at "0x00000004". The memory could not be "read"". Click OK to terminate the program"

Would you please help me with this problem. Thank you very much in advance.

Hello Thaihoa,

Did you encounter any problems during the Measurement Studio installation?  To troubleshoot this, it would be helpful to have some more information about your system.  What hardware, OS, and software are you running.  Are there any other programs running when you try to create a Measurement Studio project?  Did you install Measurement Studio support for every language in Visual Studio?  As much relevant information about your system as you can give will be helpful in resolving this issue.  Thanks!

Hello Thaihoa,

Can you repair your Measurement Studio installation from Add/Remove Programs -> National Instruments Software.  This time, ensure you are adding support for all languages, because I believe there are some components you're missing which limit your functionality.  Also, if there were any problems during the installation, this should fix them.
