Sharing NI-DAQ 6?

My company sells an add-on for our main product, a graphing and numerical analysis application, that controls NI multifunction DAQ boards. A customer is using this software with NI-DAQ 6 to control two boards. He is using Matlab to control a third board. Apprarently Matlab also uses the NI-DAQ driver to access this third board.

Should I expect problems with this sharing of the NI-DAQ driver?

Are there issues with such sharing that I need to be aware of?

It should not be a problem. The Matlab application may use a newer or older version of NI-DAQ than your application. There should not be a problem with that since NI-DAQ should be backwards compatible with any older version, but you may want to check to see which version of NI-DAQ the customer is using and test your software with that version.

Thanks, Chris. That's pretty much what I thought. I wasn't able to find anything about that in the documentation.
