Visual studio hangs in scatterplot

Measurement Studio 8.1.2 hangs visual studio 2005 when scatterplot is called on a laptop installation. I had this problem on a desktop computer and fixed it by installing service pack one for .NET. However, this did not fix the problem on the laptop. I tried two different laptops.

Hi Matt,

Just to clarify, does the error occur when you place an instance of the scatterplot in the form, or when you attempt to write data to the scatter plot? I currently do not have Measurement Studio 8.1.2 installed but I attempted to repeat this in Measurement Studio 2009 and was unable to do so when dropping the plot in a C# form.

Hi Matt,

Can you clarify if both the desktop and laptop are running the same OS with the same version of Visual Studio and the same .NET framework? Essentially, what's different between the laptop where this doesn't work and the desktop where it does? Can you also let us know what development language you are working on?
