ios_base::iostate value in the debugger

I'm using Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition on Windows XP.
I've got a program experiencing input failure (using an ifstream), and I
wanna find out exactly where it's happening. Does anyone know which value
inside the ifstream object in the debugger shows the bit values for my
object's iostate? I believe if I could see these I would be able to nail
the problem down.

Hello drmario,

It sounds like this is purely a Visual Studio issue.  Are you having any problems specifically related to Measurement Studio or other National Instruments software?  If not, I think your forum post could be better handled on a Microsoft forum at MSDN.
