nidaq32.dll load error

I get an error message "the dynamic link library nidaq32.dll could not be found in the specified path...." when I launch a program from MS Visual C++ 6.0.

The computer cannot find the file "nidaq32.dll" in a file search, even after I reinstall NIDAQ.

I'm using a NI-DAQ software 6.9.1 on Windows 2000 Professional. We had been using the program with no problems, but we started having this problem after reformatting the HD and reinstalling everything.

Any help/input/suggestion/advice/guess immensely appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Have you tried searching your system for the location of nidaq32.dll and checking to see if its location is in your system path? If it appears that it is in your path, try downloading FileMon, set a filter for nidaq32.dll, and take a FileMon log from the point that you start the application to the point that you get the error. Look at the log to see where the application is looking for the .dll.

Hello Elton,
Thank you for your reply. The file nidaq32.dll is not on the CPU at all, despite the fact that I just re-installed the NI-DAQ 6.9.1 software.
