Please join us as we welcome LabVIEW guru Brian Powell to the Milwaukee LabVIEW User Group Meeting next week Wednesday 4/2. Brian is the Global Field Architect Program Manager at National Instruments. He has been with NI 26 years, in both R&D and Marketing. He has been a Software Group Manager for the LabVIEW Measurements team, was a technical lead for LabVIEW 64-bit and LabVIEW Robotics, and now leads the LabVIEW Center of Excellence program.
The meeting will again be at StoneFire Pizza (5320 S. Moorland Rd. New Berlin, WI) and will kick off at 5 PM. Click HERE to register.
With our new format, many short topics will be covered and driven by the community. Potential topics include:
*Performance and memory management, including some new ideas we have for debugging big applications
*Code reviews (why and how, with examples)
*Humility and Better Programming (based on Brian's blog post http://labviewjournal.com/2013/05/humility-1/)
*An update on the LabVIEW Certification program
If there's a certain topic (even those not listed above) which you'd like to cover, please either post it as a reply below, or ask about it during the User Group Meeting.
I hope to see you there!
Regards,
-Craig Davis
