340vdc brushless motor with CompactRIO?

I'm a little bit messed up ... again 🙂

did you mean : "using utilizes non-standard encoder inputs: "Encoder Out: RS-422 compatible differential driver."       OUTPUT instead of INPUT?

I know that the drive output is A+ A- B+ B- C+ C-, so I need a DIFF module I guess.

http://www.parkermotion.com/manuals/Aries/Aries_UG_RevF.pdf (full manual)

http://apps.parker.com/compumotor/cat/english/BE_Series.pdf (motor)

As for the RS-422 ? I know nothing about that, I have to read... The BE Series brushless motor come with this internal encoder ...(PDF) It look standard ?

I planned to have a connector block from the Aries DEVICE I/O, so I can use the ouputs and do custom wiring. like A+ to DI0a and A- to DI0b ....

I will read ...

Thanks

Patrick

So does anyone can confirm if the standard RS-422 differencial line driver encoders like http://www.encoder.com/literature/installation-wiring-guide.pdf page9 will work on a NI-9411?

It's 0-5vdc...

Thanks a lot,

Patrick

Hey Patrick,

The "D-SUB MINIATURE (9-pin) CONNECTORS" on page 9 of that pdf would work fine with the NI-9411.   Just make sure you know that the the 9411 has 15-pin D-Sub and the encoders are 9-pin; you would need a break-out of some sort.
