70035 (NIMC_WatchdogTimeoutError) Why?

I'm getting this fatal error quite frequently.
-70035 (NIMC_WatchdogTimeoutError) A fatal error has occurred on the controller. You must reset the controller by power cycling your computer. Contact National Instruments Technical Support if this problem persists. Can somebody please help in correcting this.
I am using Labview 6.1 with an NI PCI-7344, 4-Axis servo/stepper board. Changing boards does not help.

What version of the FlexMotion/NI-Motion driver are you using? NI-Motion 6.0 and later added features to protect against watchdog errors. If you are currently using an older version of the motion driver, I recommend that you upgrade to either NI-Motion 6.0 or 6.1, which is the most current version of the driver. You can download the driver from: Drivers & Updates: Motion Control Drivers

If you are already using NI-Motion 6.0 or later, or if you continue to see this error after upgrading, please let me know. Also, please provide more information about your application and/or a sample of your code.

Hello,

since 3 weeks I´ve got the same error. I installed the newest driver, but nothing helps. In 90% I run the program(s) I get the Error.

PCI 7340, PCI 6220, LV8.2:

I wrote an onboard program that makes a 2axis move and one/two onboard program(s) that write with HighSpeedCapture the Positions to a buffer. I triggered the Measures over RTSI0 with 50Hz(for a test with 2Hz). The host reads the Positions.

The problem is that now older programs get the same error, but they ran perfectly. The buffer(s) don´t have an overflow.

The Error seems to came from an buffer operation or from Onboard program. But my problem is, that it ran.

Regards

Andy

Best Regards,
Andy

I spend a much of time in this error,

I installed old drivers and NI Motion 7.3 then 7.4 (, because I updated it lately). Problem remains.

When I  dont trigger the measures an only make the moves it seems to run.

All my backups that ran before make this Error.

Andy

Andy

Hello,

I reinstall the whole Software of NI. I get the same Error. Has anybody an Idea, what I can do?

Has anybody more Information about this Error.

My Informations when Error occured:

11 times: Modal Errors:

"Error # 0 occured at  on

Possible reasons:
Motion:
*********************************************************************************"

and Error Handler discribes the Error:

"Fehler -70035 ist bei Stop Motion (8 axes).flx aufgetreten

Mögliche Ursachen:

Motion:  Kritischer Fehler im Controller. Sie müssen Ihren Computer durch Power Cycling zurücksetzen. Setzen Sie sich mit dem Technischen Support von National Instruments in Verbindung, wenn das Problem weiterhin bestehen sollte."

When I eliminate the Stop Motion (8 axes).flx VI the same Error occoures at another VI.

Thanks

Best Regards,
Andy
