I've been using a 40 oz-in servo motor for my application, but I've begun to notice that each servo reacts to a given pulsewidth differently- by up to 3-5 degrees difference between servos.
Therefore, I want to move up and use a step motor or gearhead or DC with integral position indicating. That is I do not want to add a rotary position indicator, I want to acquire a motor already combined with a rotary position device.
