Can I use regular Analog I/O functions for DAQ purposes using FW-7344 motion controller?

I want to get analog input using FW-7344, do I HAVE to use the flexmotion functions? Or can I use the regular analog I/O functions?

Yes, you do have to use the flexmotion functions in order to access the analog input on the FW-7344.
