I'm using the Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) to setup my Motion board. If I try to set the "Stepper Output Mode" to be "Step and Direction" for one axis and "Clockwise/Counterclockwise" for another axis, both axes will change modes to "Clockwise/Counterclockwise". Why is this?
Solution: ValueMotion software configures the step outputs for all four axes to be the same. You cannot have a different "Stepper Output Mode" for different axes using ValueMotion. This is documented in the Online Help for the "Set Step Output Mode VI" in LabVIEW.
