im very new to the NI suite, but I have a solution consisting of 2 AKD motors, an ATI torque/ force sensor which all are connected to the “NI USB 6521 DAQmx “.
I’m using NI’s python lib nidaq (ver 0.5,0 from GitHub) to connect to the Daqmx, which works fine for the ATI force/ torque sensor but the only other line I see in “NI motion Explorer” is something called RIO.. which I have so far deduced probably connects to the motors.
im just looking for some example code in C or Python on how to control the motors via this RIO protocol.
I do apologize if I mess up the productnames here, but I’m happy to explain further if someone need more info.
