Currently I'm involved in a university project in which will be a major project.

This is about testing soil in a small box (800mm x 550mm dimensions)in which resides in the centrifuge.
There are 25 anchorages in this box for testing purposes and the centrifuge will rotate at 60rpm in which the small box also operates in a 10g gravitional field. It may be assumed that the anchor will have an M3 screw thread and nut assembly at the top end and rotation of this may be used to increase and decrease the load(0.3N). A small impulse (30N) will also be applied to these anchorages. So there will be 2 types of testing, the motor could be used to stress the anchorages and solenoid for applying impulse to the anchorages. I knew that Labview could be used to measure this two responses an
d also could be used to control the motion of the motor, but is possible to control the solenoid as well? My idea is that, it will better if Labview can handle the measurement responses and also controlling, since it will reduce time for implementing another user interface for controlling.
So I need a detail explanation on how to implement this hardware and also software? Since I am very new to this environment I also need some understanding and help. I also need to know how these hardware were connected to a pc? Do I also need to use separate DAQ board for measurement and controlling?

Finally I would greatly appreciate if anyone could contribute their ideas and expertise.
Thank you.

Yes, this application can be achieved in several ways, but the easiest is to use one of our PCI/PXI 734x or 735x series controllers. These are motion controllers capable of driving 2/4 or 1-8 axes of servo/stepper motors. They also provide 32/64 lines of ttl digital I/O that can be connected to relays in order to drive your solenoid application. For more information go to www.ni.com/motion
