CAL_VG,

What version of the Motion Driver are you using and what version of LabVIEW do you have?

Thanks,

I have the same problem, Error -70136 occurred at Read Position.flx

It appears to happen when the motor starts off in the opposite direction from the previous move.

I'm using driver 5.1.1, any ideas ?

CAL_VG,

Generally, this is caused by a corrupt driver or firmware installation. Several things to try are:
  • Upgrade to the latest version of the NI-Motion driver and update the firmware on the Motion controller.

  • Make sure that you have no NI Motion hardware connected to your computer during the installation of NI-Motion. If the controller was connected during installation, turn off the computer, remove the board, and uninstall NI-Motion. Next, manually backup and then remove the Data folder for Measurement and Automation Explorer (normally C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MAX\Data) . Then reinstall NI-Motion, turn off the computer, and connect the board again.
Thanks,
Luke H
