Error-70209 when Initializing a PCI-7390 Motion Controller

Hi, everyone

When initializing my PCI-7390, I recive the error -70209 says "The move cannot be started because the drive redy input of the commanded axis is not active." Why am I getting this error, and what can I do to initialize the board without getting this error?

PS:I only use axis 1.

Thank you!

a710756,

Hey, I have a few questions for you. Are you using the Yaskawa, Mitsubishi, or Panasonic drives? Its possible that for the Yaskawa drives, it is necessary to set up different controller configurations than default.

Hi, Chris_VH

I am using Mitsubishi MR-J2S drive. Could you tell me some informations about how to set up it?

I search the NI website, but only find how to set up Yaskawa drive.

Thank you.

One thing that I would definately try is disabling your drive ready for each axis.

To do this, go to MAX inside the Motion I/O settings for each axis and change the drive ready to disabled.
