FlexMotion 6.1.5 and servo tunning issues

We are working with a xy table using NI-7344 driving 2 servo motors (brushless). We have made tunning with version 6.12 and it was working OK. When we upgraded the firmware to the version 6.15, we lost the motor's tunning and could not perform it again. The motors do not stabilize

Hello.

From your post it seems like the following events happened:

1. Upgraded NI-Motion to 6.1.5. This caused you to lose your tuning settings.
2. You tried to auto-tune the motor/system and it gave unstable results.

Autotune can indeed fail sometimes, and I am not sure what may have happened between the versions if this is the case. Very often you simply have to manually tune the motors. There is an excellent Dev Zone document about this process:

Understanding Servo Tune

Hopefully using this you should get up and running.

Thanks Colin.

I have verified the tunning values (PID) before and after update the firmware. They are the same. I cannot perform auto tunning in this system because I am using a drive with PID incorporated, if I try autotunning there is a conflict between the controller and the drive. I can perform only manual tunning and it works well, but with version 6.15 it was not possible do it.
