How can I drive the Siskiyou Lab Jack 540i with an NI motor controller?

Has anyone experience in driving Siskiyou products with NI?
I want to use
*) Siskiyou Lab Jack 540i   http://www.siskiyou.com/540I.htm
*) NI motor controller e.g. NI PXI-7358
What do I need in between?

The Siskiyou motor is a DC servo motor, 12V,
22.1 watt
with a magnetic encoder 5V max.
Siskiyou says:"Our motorized device have been driven with National Instruments products but do require a linear amplification as they have precious metal brushes."

The NI MID 760x driver probably won't work because they have 24V.

Siskiyou offers a stand-alone 4-axis controller and driver with RS232 connection.
I need only one Siskiyou axis and I would prefer a solution which is more NI-integrated than RS232.

Thanks,
Hartmut

The MID-760x is a stepper motor drive and can't be used for DC motors anyway. The MID-765x is a servo drive that could be used but it provides PWM amplification instead of linear amplification so according to the statement that you posted, it can't be used, too.

I have searched our drive advisor but I couldn't find a linear amplifier there. My best advise is to ask Primatics or Movtec if they can provide an appropriate drive. Movtec is a German company and they can provide drives that can be connected directly to NI motion controllers.
If you don't find a drive that can be directly connected to an NI 734x ord 735x board you should be able to interface to any drive that provides a +/- 10 V control input through an UMI (e. g. UMI-7772)
