How to convert specific coordinate blocks into microsteps for the stepper motor.

Hello All,

 

I have a project, in which I am required to move the robotic arm to a specific location. For that specific location, I know the [x,y][x1,y1] coordinate. These coordinates make a box, where I have to find the center of the box and then make the robotic arm reach there and press on that location. I am not able to understand where to start. I have to acquire these coordinate and then use third-party software such as Copley Controls to execute the commands.
