I'm using PID FPGA control : I want to know how I transfer fixed-point data

I read data from sensor (NI 9217 module) my process variable is fixed-point data but I want my setpoint  and my PID out (error) are fixed-point too.
can anyone help me the last question In my VI I want my setpoint is square data for generate input

I am not sure I am understanding you correctly. But if you want your setpoint to look the same as the first image you posted then you can create this signal programmatically and feed it through the PID vi. Is this what you want to do? You can create an array of setpoints to read in each iteration.
