Hi all,
I have been working with a PCI-7340 card to simultaneously control four motors. At this point, I can successfully configure all parameters in NI-MAX and operate the four motors without issues using the “1D Interactive” test environment. My next step is to use the LabVIEW .vi files developed by previous lab members to control the motors together with the other hardware components.
However, I’ve run into a problem when switching to the LabVIEW setup. In NI-MAX, I increased the “maximum following error” from 1000 to 30000 to prevent shutdowns caused by a relatively large startup following error on one of the motors. But when running the LabVIEW .vi, that same motor repeatedly shuts down because its following error exceeds 1000—a value I cannot locate or modify in the LabVIEW code. I have not found any obvious control in the .vi files that sets the following error limit.
Could you advise which specific .vi or configuration routine I should check to update this limit?
Thanks in advance!
Best,
Yin
