Initial positionning of a step motor

Hi,

I would like to know how can I set the initial position of a step motor? I am running the motor by increments at first and then I need that the position reached becomes the initial one so that I can perform absolute moves from this position or come back to it.

Maitre,

There is a VI in LabVIEW called Reset Position.  This VI will, by default, set the position count for the motor back to 0.  After running this VI all subsequent absolute moves will be referenced to the point at which you reset the position.
