Is there a way to define a trajectory that will finish at a particular time?

I have a series of XYZ points that must be reached at regular time intervals. The flexmotion move and blend functions dont seem to support this type of time synchronised movement.

From my reading, it appears that the ability to do what you would like is defined as Contour Motion and is referenced in the NI August 2001 document, Motion Control Module for Measurement Studio (please see http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/323164a.pdf on page four). This refers to Contour Motion control mode, which was contemplated in the original architecture for FlexMotion and now seems to be (or maybe soon to be...) implemented in a software release, according to the document listed above.

Contour motion control, as it was originally contemplated, would calculate motion profiles for coordinated axes so that they all arrive simultaneously at defined points, at defined times...assuming that the associated mechanical system could support the target velocity and accel
erations that would be needed to meet the time and position needs. (ie...if you set multiple xyz positions and a time constraint for each then you must be certain that the mechanical system (components, motors and drives) could attain the associated performance to give the FlexMotion controller the opportunity to provide this level of control.) I would be interested to hear the actual status of this function...If it's available, then it should do exactly what you ask and require...
