Well, you can run CD&Sim on a PC just fine (perhaps a ruggedized Industrial controller?), but you might prefer a real-time system. In that case, the cRIO (in combination with its FPGA backplace) or a real-time Industrial controller might be appropriate. If you call in I'm sure a sale rep would be able to talk you through your application and come up with an appropriate solution.
