Looking for a watchdog relya

Hi,
I am looking for a watchdog relay.
I have a test bench with an electrical capdet I am designing the automation it under CVI and using cdaq cards and I d like to monitor that my application is still responding, to do that Ithought put a relay on electrical capdet power line that monitors a timer or a square signal generated by one of my NI card, (actually a 0 5 v square signal comming from a NI9263). if the signal is not received by the relay it must power off the power line of the electrical capdet
my issue is to find the apropriate relay for this application.

does anybody have an idea on where to find that kind of relay

Olivier,

I think you should have a look at the products of Pilz. This company has a lot of expertise in safety products and I'm pretty sure that they can provide what you are looking for. I don't know if they really can provide a safety relay that accepts a life tick signal as an input or if you need to provide another type of signal, but they should be able to answer this question.
