Hello,
I have a Thorlabs NRT150 stage driven by a BSC202 controller and a Labview routine running the Thorlabs ActiveX MG17 MotorControl object.
Although I can send an output trigger signal to external instrumentation on initiation of a stage movement, I can’t find a way to send a trigger signal upon completion of a move.
I would like to complete a move, send a trigger to an external instrument, move again…….etc.
Can anyone let me know if it is possible to do this?
Thanks!

Hi Conor,
I'd like to try and give you a hand with this. Do you think I could look at the code if it isn't too sensitive in nature?

Hello Chris,
Thanks a million for your assistance. I have a Thorlabs NRT150 stage, driven by a Thorlabs BSC202 controller. The bundled APT software allows the firing of a trigger output from the controller upon initiation of a stage move, see pg. 44 http://www.thorlabs.com/Thorcat/24700/BSC202-Manual.pdf . This software can also be replicated in Labview using the MG17 Motor Control ActiveX control, http://www.thorlabs.com/images/TabImages/GuideToLabVIEWandAPT.pdf.
The key node is the ‘SetTriggerParams’, which sends a signal when a move is initiated. What I need to do is to fire a trigger signal upon completion of a move, not initiation of a move. Is there any way that I can implement this in Labview?
Our code is largely confidential but I attach a snippet that may help.
Regards,
Conor
