I'm trying to find PCI motion controllers to connect to my MID 7604 power drive. I have been assigned to run 3 axes and the only thing I was given to work the motors is just the MID 7604.
I was wondering if it is possible to use a third party motion controller (using the correct application [tho preferrably Labview]) to connect it to the MID 7604 to run the axes.
If not possible, which motion controllers would work best for the project that I have been assigned?
note: I still don't know what the axis is going to be used for, I just want to get the motors to work for now so we can determine what to use it for later.

I have searched our internal notes, and even browsed on old service requests, and I have not been able to find any guide on what you would need form the third party controller, as it seemed in some of the old requests, that they got some issues at initialization on the MID-7604 as NI's PCI controller performed some initialization routine that they were not quite able to implement on the third party controllers.
Though it may be possible to connect our MID-7604 drive to a third party controller, I would say that we can't guarantee its functionality, and thus, we can't officially support it.
