The maximum cable length depends on the signal that you are trying to put through the cabele. The faster the signal the shorter the cable. NI produces standard cable lengths, and we have tested these cables at all signal speeds possible with the Motion controllers. You can couple several of these cables together, but if your signal is changing very fast, you will see too much change over a long cable.
