NI 9514 to control a brushless servo motor

I am looking to control a brushless servo motor (continuous current 5.4 A) using NI9514. I'd like to know if its possible in the first place?

Also, to drive this motor, what driver can I use? I am looking to control this using MATLAB and not LABVIEW. Is NI 9514 compatible with MATLAB/SIMULINK?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi adithyababuraj,

The NI-9514 is programmed with the SoftMotion Module which is LabVIEW-specific, so it is not compatible with MATLAB/SIMULINK.

In LabVIEW, you can control a brushless servo motor with the NI-9514, but the maximum output current is +/-2mA for this card.
