Hi Andrea,

at this link [broken link removed] you can find all NI products for motion control, among which you can select based on required platform, axis number, motor type etc.

Hope it helps!

Bye!

Hi Licia,

thanks for your answer!

It seams that NI board are very expensive, at least for my pockets.

It would be great to find a manufacturer who can provide a similar product at a lower price and offering the possibility to drive the board through Lab View.

Thanks,

Andrea

There are lots of manufacturers of stepper drivers and controllers. Many use serial ports or USB serial communication, so a LabVIEW interface is easy. Some even provide sample communication vis. Here are a few manufacturers that I have used:

Schneider Electric MForce drivers (I have a system using 6 of these driven from LabVIEW):

Lin Engineering (I have only used their integrated motor/controller systems)

Galil Motion Control (a bit expensive but offers multiple motors on one controller. I have used their Ethernet controllers with LabVIEW)

Good Luck,

Rich
