Hello
I have some difficult with choosing cameras. A few words for what I need cameras. My research focuses in the developing video system to articulated body motion tracking and recognition of human interaction using static-background and stereo vision system. My task is to represent human motions in dimensional vector fields, where one point represent one motion (either walking, rising hand, pushing, pointing, kicking, and hand hacking) and by combining the popular locally linear embedding (LLE), non linear dimensionality reduction method and finite state automata (FA) for recognizing human motion and interaction.
I need to choose two NI compatible cameras according my task. Could you suggest me main parameters, manufactures.

Hello--
Specifically which camera to choose will be based on your specific needs. You probably want an area scan, as opposed to a line scan. Color or monochrome is up to you and your application. Another consideration is bus type (Firewire, analog, camera link) you can read a bit about bus types here. , here, and here. Really though, choosing a camera is going to depend mostly on what parameters you need. Look through the camera list and then go to those manufacturers websites, or call them, to get more information. There is also a lot of information on our website, here is a great one on system setup. If you do need turn-key solutions or advice you could always consider one of our alliance members, linked here Let us know if you need anything.
