Problems with "Blend Motion" function

I frequently call a function where I perform an onboard blend move on a PCI-7344 Controller. A parallel working onboard program measures position and analog input values. After an uncertain amount of blend moves (0-500) I get a modal error which says that the blend motion was executed at an illegal time. Why do I get this error?

You get this error when you send commands to the DSP on the motion board when it is busy. This can be caused by sending more than one command at once. You might be able to get around this by putting a small delay in before your blend.
