Read Axis Status not supported for PXI-7342

I have an application where I am checking the "Check Move Complete Status.flx" to see if a move has completed.  We are also trying to determine if the move stopped due to Following Error being exceeded.

The VI "Read Axis Status.vi" with the attribute set to "following error exceeded" is returning an error saying that this function is not supported for the board.

Is there another way to access the following error register bit to check and see if the move stopped because of following error?

What board does support the use of this VI?

If it is supposed to be for all motion boards, when will this attribute become usuable in LV?

I'm unable to find Read Axis Status.vi in the Motion library. Which version of Motion do you use ?

In the NI-Motion 7.6 library there is a Read per Axis Status.vi which returns the state of the following error bit.


According to the help, this VI is compatible with the NI-Motion 7340 series. You may have noticed the Device Compatibility link in the right upper corner of the help window of the Motion functions.

I'm sorry, the name of the VI is Read Execution Status. VI

I checked the compatibility link at the top - it is not supported for the 7340 series.  That would explain it!!

I'll swap with the Read per Axis Status.  Thanks for reminding me to check the compatibility list.
