Servo Tune with 7344 Controller

Hello,

I am using a PXI-7344 board with a UMI-7764 accessory and I would like to know how to set correctly the servo tune. I am using 2 axes and I would like to optimize the gains for axis 1 which is a closed-loop control for hydraui cylinder (servo axis).

I set 100 for proportional and 100 for derivative and 5 for Velocity feedback gain.
But for Integrative, the value is 0 at the moment.
When I increase the integrative to 10 for example (10% of Proportional), the output setpoint for pressure is amplified...?!
Normally, I thought it would be the response which would be corrected? And I don't know how to check the effects of the step response with  different gains.

Moreover, is it possible to implement the commands of the servo tune (calibration in MAX) directly in my program LabView with a special subVI, and to modify it during the execution of the VI (without initializing each time)?

Thanks

Hello,

You can find some informations about servo tune on this web page : http://zone.ni.com/devzone/conceptd.nsf/webmain/4b7775373e4ae64986256b6000691505
If  you change calibration you have to reinitialize your application because meaurements depend on calibration constantes.
