If you want to connect to the RS-232 port on the controller vai USB, you can use one of our USB-to-RS-232 converters found
here (see the menu links on the left side of that page for options on product offerings). However, you will need a 9-pin-to-25-pin converter to get it to work with your device. We do have a product called the
RS1 (Part Number 181074-10) which can do this for you as well.
Then you can use the NI-VISA and NI-Serial drivers to communicate with your 9340 that way. A good reference for this would be the Serial example VIs found by going to LabVIEW's Help menu and choosing "Find Examples...", and then browsing to Hardware Input and Output » Serial.
