Solved!

Hi,

my new Computer runs with Windows 7 64bit, which is not supported by the actual driver.

Any chance to get it running?

Regards,

 Tobias

Hi, does the driver also work with this specific board:

http://www.digilentinc.com/Products/Detail.cfm?NavPath=2,400,709&Prod=S3E1600

I believe this board has 1600K Gates and the other board http://www.xilinx.com/products/devkits/HW-SPAR3E-SK-US-G.htm has 500K gates?

Thanks,

VDB

The driver is only tested and supported to run on the Spartan 3E Starter Board. Since there are many variations of the Spartan 3E board, it is possible some of them will have full or limited functionality but it is not likely. You are welcome to try using the other boards, and let us know the results on the forums.

Hi all,

to avoid starting a new topic I will put my issue here.

I was giving a try to the new Labview 2011 FPGA.

While trying to install the "Spartan 3 XUP driver" it prompted me with a message like : "...you need to install Labview 2011 FPGA SP1 first"

After a seach on ni.com I come out on something like "Ni 2011 Xilinx SP1 12.4..." - 3.2 Gb I said it should be it.

After installing this thing, I tried again the Spartan 3 XUP driver - I have got same pop-up.

What can I do to use it with my Spartan 3 board?!?

I have Win7 32bit.

Andrei

You have installed the Xilinx tools for 2011SP1, you need to also install LabVIEW 2011 SP1 (click here) and LabVIEW FPGA SP1 (click here)
