Stepper doesn't move in Ni Max

Hello Everyone,

The Stepper Motors on My machine don't move on my machine, I have PCI -7344 card connected to UMI 7764 with 68 pin connector. I have tried all the Settings discussed in the Forums and they still don't run. So, am I missing something ?, All the motors are 3rd Party.

Hi Jsandra,

I would suggest disconnecting the motor from the UMI7764 first, and first verify that your stepper motor is working.  One simple test is to use a function generator to send pulses to your motor to see if it turns.  If this works, then you should be able to use the STEP/DIR or CW/CCW outputs from the UMI7764 to achieve the same thing.
