Virtual prototyping using Solidworks-Labview for controlling a plate

Hi,

I'd like to ask is it possible to do virtual prototyping using solidworks and labview for an application that needs to control the displacement of a plate. The plate will be excited at a certain frequency, then the plate's displacement will be measured using a sensor,which will send a signal to controller,then controller will give signal to actuator and actuator will move to control the plate's displacement to be near to zero.

I think this sounds like an application with a little too many specific physics that will need to be prototyped with the Control Design and Simulation Module. Please see this thread for more details.
